Lorenzo Lorenzetti

Hello! I'm a PhD student in Philosophy at the University of Bristol. I work mainly in the philosophy of physics and the metaphysics of science.

I'm a first year PhD student in Philosophy at the University of Bristol, supervised by Prof. James Ladyman and Dr. Karim Thébault. My PhD is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (via SWW DTP). I'm also an affiliate member of the Geneva Symmetry Group.

My research interests lie mainly in the intersection between philosophy of physics and metaphysics. I focus in particular on the philosophy of quantum mechanics, and on topics such as functionalism, emergence and reduction.
