I'm a PhD student in Philosophy at the University of Bristol.
My main research areas are philosophy of physics, philosophy of science, and metaphysics. My current research focuses on inter-theory reduction in physics, especially functional reduction. I’m also interested in foundational aspects of statistical physics and thermodynamics and in the philosophy of quantum mechanics.
My PhD is supervised by James Ladyman and Karim Thébault, and funded by the AHRC (SWW DTP).
I spent Fall 2023 as a visiting researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, and Spring 2022 as a visiting research student at King's College. I'm part of the Philosophy of Physics group at Bristol and an affiliate member of the Geneva Symmetry Group.
